This is a full time position within a 7 day a week roster, for 35-45 hours per week - this does include weekends.

The starting wage is based on experience and skill and will be between $27 and $30 per hour

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is beginning their career in the hospitality industry and is either straight out of training/wanting to be trained/moving up from a kitchen hand position.

The ideal candidate enjoys paying attention to detail and can work positively within the kitchen team. The individual should have an attitude to want to consistently improve and communicate well with other members.

Daily Operations:

  • Prep food items to standard - including vegetables, meat and other.

  • Communicate well within the team to ensure menu items are consistently available.

  • Contribute to the production and/or plating of menu items to standard.

  • Contribute to the smooth operation of all aspects of the kitchen, including (but not limited) to cleaning, hygiene standards, morale.

  • Minimise food wastage by efficient time management and communication.
